Hi, I'm Debbie the mother of a young boy whose life was quickly ended in a viscous knife attack right outside the family home. Not being able to comprehend how a minor incident could escalate into something as devastating as what happened to my son is what has set me on a path to help prevent other families from ever having to go through the 'lived experience' me and my family are suffering. I joined with PYP so that I could help young people to understand from the position of a 'mother,' the devastation they cause and leave behind, which includes; the on-going pain, anxiety, sleepless nights & depression etc. I want to help young people truly understand the emotional consequences of their actions.

Hi, I'm Wendy and I am a freelance balloon specialist & venue decorator. My balloon designs range from small bouquets to large balloon arches. I have supplied decorations for a variety of events within the City, from birthday parties to church events. Being a part of the PYP team is great because we have a history of working well together. I am really proud to be associated with an organisation that is working hard to change the lives of families and help keep young people safe from the dangers on the streets. 

Hi, I'm Ophelia and I had the privilege of supporting PYP in 2019 with their amazing anti-gun and knife crime youth project. It was a fantastic experience to be amongst such a passionate and enthusiastic team. I am pleased that I can bring my passion for young people and experience of outreach work to PYP, alongside my expertise in the events industry. The combination of skills I have to offer puts me in a good position within the team to ensure that we do all we can to assist young people and their families out of a life of poverty & crime.
