PROTECT

YOUNG PEOPLE FROM THE ADVERSE EFFECTS OF POVERTY

We put support mechanisms in place by offering a tier 2 prevention and early intervention Family Support Service to protect young people and their families from the adverse affects of poverty and hardship. We target the most 'at risk' young people and use a process of assessment to identify the root causes to the problem and eradicate or minimise the barriers to economic growth and health & well being to help strengthen families and transition them to a more prosperous life position.

PREVENT

YOUNG PEOPLE FROM LEADING A LIFE OF CRIME

We implement a prevention and early intervention Anti-Youth Crime Service by providing a targeted programme for 'at risk' and vulnerable young members of the community. We apply strategies to deter young people from entering into a life of violence, gang association & drug related crimes which could result in serious injury, death or imprisonment and ultimately destroy the health & well-being of extended family members, friends and the wider community. We provide the tools to guide them towards alternative ways to prosper and living as law-abiding citizens.

Positioning Youth To Prosper (PYP) Gun & Knife Crime Prevention Programme

This service is provided for young people aged 8-25 years who are at risk of youth crime involvement.

We offer a very innovative anti-crime programme consisting of 5 key elements:

  • Focus Groups

  • Youth Projects

  • Youth Advocacy

  • PYP Awards Ceremony

  • PYP's Youth Talent Show

Admission onto our Youth Projects is strictly via referral so please refer to our 'frequently asked questions' (FAQs) page for more information.

PROVIDE

YOUNG PEOPLE WITH

SAFE AND PROFITABLE OPPORTUNITIES FOR SURVIVAL & SUCCESS

We put processes in place to provide a Financial Education Service for young people and their families. We teach them about money management and the effective use of money in terms of enhancing and improving lifestyle. We also assist them with accessing the 4 pathways to prosperity which are; Education, Employment, Training and Entrepreneurship. These prosperity pathways will inevitably lead them to safe and profitable opportunities for survival & success. Through a variety of intervention methods we guide young people towards making positive career choices and empower them with tools for goal-setting and planning for a prosperous future ahead.

Positioning Youth To Prosper (PYP) Financial Education Programme

A variety of teaching methods are applied. This involves the inclusion of external service providers and experts in the field who partner with us.

OUR 3 CORE SERVICES
OUR 4 pathways to prosperity

We help young people to select the pathway that is best suited to what THEY want to do and who THEY want to be.

We then put mechanisms in place to support them on their journey to the desired career or business destination of their choice.
